Authorised Immunisers

We are looking for a suitably qualified Authorised Immuniser to join the team.  You will be responsible for administering vaccines to community members and staff as recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council, and in accordance with the digital version of The Australian Immunisation Handbook.The successful applicant will have:A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a registered nurse (RN) with a minimum two years’ experience.A current Authorised Immuniser registration with the Tasmanian Department of Health with demonstrated experience administering vaccines / experience with the National Immunisation Program.A current annual cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) qualification.An annual refresher to maintain clinical knowledge of anaphylaxis.Completed the Department of Education, Children and Young People compulsory safeguarding training.Ability to listen, decipher and research to provide authoritative advice to customers efficiently and professionally.Position Hours: Casual Additional Notes: The successful candidate must be available to work on Mondays.Our rosters are scheduled 12 months in advance to keep things organised.  For the remainder of the 2025, only back up shifts are available.
